Is your feline friend in pain? Ask a new app developed by Montrealers

A new app developed by Montreal researchers will help cat owners know whether their pets are in pain. Unlike with dogs who cry or whine, “pain is hard to detect among cats because they won’t show their discomfort through their behaviour, so it’s even difficult for veterinarians to detect,” said Paulo Steagall, one of the application’s creators.
