KC Pet Project attributes owner surrenders to lack of viable housing, veterinary care

In the first four months of 2022, 804 animals have been surrendered to KC Pet Project. And just in the month of April, the shelter has taken in over 500 new animals, which the shelter says is alarming to see this early in the year.
